Too Sexy for My Car

In follow up to yesterday’s post on sexy, red, automated, Annapolian transportational apparatus, here is a Corvette from about the same time a year ago. They don’t make them like this anymore!

There is something about shiny, red transportational devices in Annapolis, MD. We crossed the path of this über-sexy, motorized, cyclical apparatus on a recent trip to the fabled harbor. It reminded me of the ‘60 Corvette I shot nearly a year ago in about the same spot (I’ll post that soon).

I couldn’t figure out a good way to shoot this beauty. I circled it like a hawk –nearly getting myself run over in the process– trying to find a way to pull it out of the busy background surrounding it on all sides. Of all the shots I took in the time I had, this one was the best. But it still doesn’t do the motorcycle justice. I finally resorted to blurring and slightly desaturating the background in post to help the bike stand out. It helped… a little. It definitely looks better large.
