I received my Master’s Degree from Ap. State (BTW…it’s Apple-ahh-chin…like throwing an apple at ya’.  I never heard anyone up there call it “Apple ay chin”) in Boone, NC.  The story about the little football team beating the big bad, bad football team is everywhere, including the NY Times.  Amazing…sleepy little Boone.  One of the most beautiful places on earth, in my opinion.

I grew up in a family that loved college football, since both of my parents are Auburn graduates.  My mom actually emailed me the news, knowing that I had probably missed it.  It’s pretty cool really…the classic underdog story!  We Americans love that…don’t we?
